- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove seeds and membranes.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté onions and garlic. Add ground meat and cook until browned.
- Stir in cooked rice and tomato sauce. Season with salt and pepper.
- Stuff bell peppers with the meat mixture and place them in a baking dish.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25-30 minutes. Remove foil, sprinkle cheese, and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until cheese melts and peppers are tender.
