 Ingredients:

    • Bell peppers (4, any color)
    • Ground beef or turkey (1 pound)
    • Cooked rice (1 cup)
    • Onion (1, finely chopped)
    • Garlic cloves (2, minced)
    • Tomato sauce (1 cup)
    • Shredded cheese (½ cup)
    • Olive oil (2 tablespoons)
    • Salt and pepper (to taste)

  • Preparation:
    • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
    • Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove seeds and membranes.
    • In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté onions and garlic. Add ground meat and cook until browned.
    • Stir in cooked rice and tomato sauce. Season with salt and pepper.
    • Stuff bell peppers with the meat mixture and place them in a baking dish.
    • Cover with foil and bake for 25-30 minutes. Remove foil, sprinkle cheese, and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until cheese melts and peppers are tender.
