| Crispy Okra Fry Recipe |
500 grams okra (bhindi), thinly sliced
2 onions, finely chopped
2 tomatoes, chopped
2 green chilies, chopped
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon red chili powder
1 teaspoon coriander powder
Salt to taste
2 tablespoons oil
Fresh coriander leaves for garnishing
Instructions:
Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
Add tomatoes and green chilies, and cook until tomatoes are soft and mashed.
Now add sliced okra, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well and cook covered for 10-15 minutes until okra is tender and crispy.
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves before serving.
