Flavorful Potato and Corn Patties |
4 medium-sized potatoes, boiled and mashed
1 cup boiled corn kernels
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 green chili, finely chopped
1 teaspoon ginger paste
1 teaspoon garlic paste
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 teaspoon chaat masala
Salt to taste
2 tablespoons chopped coriander leaves
2 tablespoons cooking oil
Instructions:
In a mixing bowl, combine mashed potatoes, boiled corn kernels, onion, green chili, ginger paste, garlic paste, cumin seeds, chaat masala, salt, and chopped coriander leaves. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly incorporated.
Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into flat tikkis.
Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
Once the oil is hot, carefully place the tikkis in the pan. Cook until both sides are golden brown and crisp.
Remove the cooked tikkis from the pan and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.
Serve hot with tomato ketchup or green chutney.
