Ingredients:

4 medium-sized potatoes, boiled and mashed

1 cup chopped spinach, blanched and squeezed dry

1 small onion, finely chopped

1 green chili, finely chopped

1 teaspoon ginger paste

1 teaspoon garlic paste

1 teaspoon cumin powder

1 teaspoon chaat masala

Salt to taste

2 tablespoons chopped coriander leaves

2 tablespoons cooking oil

Instructions:

In a mixing bowl, combine mashed potatoes, chopped spinach, onion, green chili, ginger paste, garlic paste, cumin powder, chaat masala, salt, and chopped coriander leaves. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly incorporated.

Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into round patties.

Heat oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.

Once the oil is hot, carefully place the tikkis in the skillet. Cook until the bottom side is golden brown, then flip and cook the other side until golden brown and crisp.

Remove the cooked tikkis from the skillet and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb excess oil.

Serve hot with mint chutney or tamarind sauce.
