Ingredients:

4 medium-sized potatoes, boiled and mashed

1/2 cup grated paneer (Indian cottage cheese)

1/4 cup bread crumbs

1 onion, finely chopped

2 green chilies, finely chopped

1 teaspoon ginger paste

1 teaspoon garlic paste

1 teaspoon red chili powder

1 teaspoon cumin powder

1/2 teaspoon chaat masala

Salt to taste

2 tablespoons chopped coriander leaves

2 tablespoons cooking oil

Instructions:

In a large mixing bowl, combine mashed potatoes, grated paneer, bread crumbs, chopped onion, green chilies, ginger paste, garlic paste, red chili powder, cumin powder, chaat masala, salt, and chopped coriander leaves. Mix well until everything is evenly combined.

Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into flat tikkis.

Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.

Once the oil is hot, carefully place the tikkis in the pan. Cook until both sides are golden brown and crisp.

Remove the cooked tikkis from the pan and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.

Serve hot with mint chutney or yogurt dip.
