Classic Beef Burger |
1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend recommended)
Salt and pepper to taste
4 hamburger buns
Toppings (lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese, pickles, condiments of choice)
Instructions:
Preheat grill or skillet to medium-high heat.
Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties, about 1/2 inch thick. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
Place the patties on the grill or skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until desired level of doneness is reached.
Toast the hamburger buns on the grill or skillet for about 1-2 minutes.
Assemble the burgers by placing the cooked patties on the bottom halves of the buns, then add desired toppings and condiments. Top with the other half of the bun and serve immediately.
