Flavorful Carrot Curry Recipe |
Carrots 500 grams (chopped)
Onions 2 medium-sized (chopped)
Tomatoes 2 medium-sized (chopped)
Green chilies 2 (chopped)
Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon
Red chili powder 1/2 teaspoon
Coriander powder 1 teaspoon
Salt to taste
For tempering: Oil 2 tablespoons, Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon
Method:
Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds and sauté.
Add onions and sauté until translucent, then add tomatoes and green chilies.
Once tomatoes are soft, add spices and mix well.
Add chopped carrots and mix, cover and cook until carrots are tender.
Carrot curry is ready to serve with hot roti.
