Ingredients
1 cup broken wheat (Dalia)
1 cup mixed lentils (split Bengal gram, split red lentils, yellow lentils)
1 large onion, finely chopped
2 tomatoes, chopped
4-5 green chilies, chopped
1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
2 teaspoons red chili powder
1 teaspoon garam masala powder
1/2 cup cooking oil or ghee
Assorted vegetables (carrots, peas, potatoes), chopped
Salt to taste
Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions:
Follow the same instructions as the Traditional Beef Haleem recipe, omitting meat and using mixed lentils and vegetables instead. Cook until the lentils are tender and the vegetables are cooked through.
